Our Arts Centres

The Rocky Point Gallery & Studio plays a valuable role in Port Moody's vibrant arts community by supporting and promoting local artists through the creation of a unique combination of artists' studios and exhibition space. The facility is located just west of the Old Mill Boat House and the Beautiful Rocky Point Park, with an inspiring view of the mountains and Burrard Inlet. The beautiful gallery on the main floor is a wonderful bright exhibition space, while studio space is available to rent to professional artists on the second floor. Our artists and art educators are professionals, affiliated with various artistic organizations, including the Federation of Canadian Artists (FCA).

Rocky Point Art Gallery & Studios features original contemporary paintings (oil, watercolour, acrylic, pastel, pen & ink drawings) as well as ceramics and sculptures in various media, representing different techniques and schools of art. Throughout the year, they host a wide range of arts events. These include not only arts exhibitions, but also guest speakers, art critique sessions, and workshops, such as art framing and matting. Some artists in residence offer private art lessons out of their studios.

Artists and art enthusiasts are welcome to join our Artists' Café located at the Gallery, where they will be able to share exciting and divergent ideas. The artists' café meets on the first and third friday of every month.
