Our Arts Centres

The Port Moody Arts Centre is home to the Blackberry Gallery, a gift shop, arts and performance classes of all kinds and many different community arts groups. Operated by the Port Moody Festival of the Arts Society. The Society is a registered charitable organization,  funded through the help of the City of Port Moody, The Gaming Commission and by donations received from individuals and corporations.

The Blackberry Gallery,  is a public art gallery, consisting of four different gallery spaces. Exhibits range from local artists to those from faraway, from paintings to sculpture to installations.

The Arts Centre  offers over 300 classes and workshops per year, catering to all levels of artistic skill and interest. Visual arts, ceramics, fine craft and music stimulate creativity in young of age and young of heart. Many local arts groups meet at the Centre. Custom programs for home-schooled kids, tours for Guides and Scouts and drop in studio time all provide unique opportunities for members of the community to enrich their lives.

The delightful arts centre gift shop is run by an artists' co-operative, the Blackberry Artists Society. All work is by local artists and each artist takes turns working in the shop one day per month. Displays and inventory are ever-changing as new artists join and current artists bring in new work.
