  Chronic Disease Self-Management Worshop  This is a recurring event

  The Chronic Disease Self-Management Program is a lay-led patient education program offered in communities throughout British Columbia. Participants are adults experiencing chronic health conditions (e.g., hypertension, arthritis, heart disease, stroke, lung disease, diabetes, …etc), their family members, friends and caregivers. The program provides information and teaches practical skills on managing chronic health problems. Most importantly, the CDSMP gives people the confidence and motivation they need to manage the challenges of living with a chronic health condition.

  Visual Art Workshop: Felted Flowers

  Place des Arts Craftivity Workshop over 3 Wednesdays.
After making felted beads in week one, you’ll use them, along with wool felt, vintage clip-on earrings and simple crocheted stitches, to construct beautiful funky flowers in this three-week workshop. Then apply them to purses, jackets, handmade books or anything else you want to decoratively personalize. A supply list is available at the reception desk. For ages 12 and up.
