Details:Coquitlam, BC: Lower Como Creek Tree Planting
October 1st, 2nd and 3rd: 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Join the City of Coquitlam in partnership with Trees for Tomorrow as we plant native trees and shrubs along the banks of the Como Creek to prevent the re-growth of invasive Himalayan Blackberry and provide quality wildlife habitat.

Location: Coquitlam, BC Lower Como Creek off United Blvd.

Directions: From Highway One, exit at United Blvd (last exit before the Portman Bridge) and head west past Brigantine. The restoration site is located on the South side of United Blvd. Look for the large blue and yellow provincial sign.

Exact meeting location: We will meet in the Creek Side Cafe parking lot (1368 United Blvd.).

Please wear sturdy footwear, bring lots of water and dress for the weather. If you have a shovel and a pair of gloves you may bring them otherwise shovels and gloves will be on hand. Refreshments will be provided.
